BOS Power S2000 IMO Tier III
The BOS Power S2000 M72 IMO Tier III engine is a compact, light-weight diesel engine design based on the market leading mtu S2000 engine series. Combined with a SCR it fulfills emission levels according to IMO Tier III and is certified by DNV to meet the NOx reduction requirements for operation in ECA areas.
Designed for small engines rooms the system is lightweight and compact, with a flexible SCR arrangement that allows for the best utilisation of space.
The BOS Power S2000 IMO Tier III propulsion solution are well suited for light crafts such as passenger transport vessels, crew transfer vessels, Search and Rescue (SAR) vessels, Patrol vessels, work boats and tugboats.

BOS Power S2000 IMO Tier III
Designed for small engine rooms the system is lightweight and compact, with a flexible SCR arrangement that allows for the best utilization of space. BOS Power IMO Tier III solutions include mtu S2000 M72 engine, complete SCR, control cabinet, urea dosing unit and urea tank.
The mtu Series 2000 M72 common rail engines are rated for intermediate duty (1B) and have excellent acceleration behavior and high engines torque at low load.
Due to their compact and powerful design, the 1B duty engines are particularly suited for fast ferries, SAR, patrol vessels, wind farm service and crew vessels.
Delivered in the power range of 720 – 1440 kW.
